2018 Maserati Ghibli vs 2018 BMW M3

Proudly Serving North Olmsted, OH

The finest luxury sport sedans offer performance, comfort and great looks. Two of the best examples are the 2018 Maserati Ghibli and the 2018 BMW M3. Both offer grin-invoking handling, handsome styling and exhilarating performance. The Maserati comes in Ghibli, Ghibli S and Ghibli S Q4 models, with optional GranSport and GranLusso trims. The BMW is a special version of the 3 Series. We’re confident a test-drive of both will convince is that the Maserati is a unique vehicle that you’ll love to own.

Performance

The Ghibli top engine is a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 that puts out 430 horsepower and 428 lb-ft of torque, coupled to a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission. Ghibli rides on 20-inch light-alloy wheels, and stability control has been enhanced for better driving dynamics via the Maserati Skyhook suspension system. The BMW M3 engine is a 3.0-liter turbo-6 with 425 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque.

Interior

Both cars are available with luxurious interiors, but the Ghibli GranLusso is plusher than the competition. It features your choice of Ermenegildo Zegna Silk Edition upholstery or full premium leather, as well as Radica open-pore wood trim. GranLusso also features special, comfortable seats that provide memory function and 12-way power adjustment. The Ghibli GranSport interior gives you a sport steering wheel, sport seats, and Inox sport foot pedals.

Exterior Design

The exterior of the BMW M3 is a derivative of the 3-Series design. That’s not bad – until you see the 2018 Ghibli, which is fabulous from any angle. The highly customizable Ghibli exterior has been upgraded for 2018 with innovative, full-LED headlights featuring Matrix LED technology for full-time high-beam driving – to protect oncoming traffic, a camera-guided system blocks part of the light as needed. Unique Ghibli design elements include a contoured hood with plunging V-shaped character lines and a signature Trident grille with chromed bars integrated into the bumper.

We invite you to visit our showroom and test drive the 2018 Maserati Ghibli. One test drive will persuade you that this is the sport sedan that leaves the competition in the dust.
